Callisburg -- The Bonham Warriors had a 6-0 advantage at the end of the first quarter, but it was the Callisburg Wildcats with a 44-12 vctory at the end of the game.
Bonham struck first when Myron Roundtree scored on a 59-yard touchdown with 10:42 remaining in the first period, but that turned out to be the only points the offense could muster and a versatile Callisburg offense began gobbling up real estate and lighting up the scoreboard.

Running back Clayton Love hit pay dirt from nine yards out early in the second quarter and a PAT by Bobby Dorman gave Callisburg a lead they would never relinquish.
After forcing Bonham to punt, Thor Long, Callisburg's sophomore signal caller began effectively working his receivers. Long hit Jamey Brinlee over the middle for 33 yards and Long connected with Quincy Hough on a well-timed down-and-out to move the chains. Another pass, this time to Bobby Dorman, was good for 17 yards and a first down at the Bonham 18-yard line. A hand off to Love moved the ball down to the Warrior five-yard line. Love followed good blocking into the end zone on the next play. The successful PAT had Callisburg up 14-6 at halftime.
Bonham got the first big play of the second half when Dustin Ingold blocked a Callisburg punt and ran it in for six points. The Warriors lined up to attempt a game-tying two-point conversion, but a Bonham fumble was scooped up by Callisburg's Brandon LaRue and 98 yards later the Wildcats had two more points and a 16-12 lead.
Callisburg scored next when Dorman took a short pass from Long and raced 54 yards to the end zone.
The Wildcat defense got into the scoring act when Kevin Bartley picked off a pass and ran it back for a 30-yard TD.
The Bonham offense went three-and-out and Callisburg went back to work. A screen pass to Brinlee turned into a 56-yard scoring strike and Callisburg led 37-12 going into the fourth quarter.
The final touchdown of the night came when a Callisburg pass bounced off a Bonham defensive back and into the hands of Brinlee for a 49-yard TD pass that gave the Wildcats a 44-12 victory.
Bonham will have another long road trip September 5 when the Warriors travel to Sanger.
Callisburg will travel to play Fort Worth All Saints.
