Agnello's directorial debut film 'Lime Salted Love' to premiere at Laemmle Sunset 5 in Los Angeles July 18

LOS ANGELES, CA—Stars like Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3, The L Word), Kate del Castillo (Under The Same Moon, Trade, Bordertown), Jason Brooks (Days of our Lives, Baywatch Hawaii) and Billy Drago (The Hills Have Eyes, The Untouchables, Charmed), were excited to work with Danielle Agnello on her directorial debut film, Lime Salted Love.

Agnello, whose life changing accident happened less than five years ago, struggled though a coma only to wake with amnesia. She experienced a severe mental break that resulted in confinement to various psychiatric wards, yet still managed to face these major adversities, change her life and create a meaningful film.

When asked about her experience and transformation Agnello says,  "I now know that a climb out of the abyss is possible and I hope my story helps encourage people to pursue their goals no matter how out of reach they may seem. If I can go from psych ward to award winning director, anything you dream is within reach."

Lime Salted Love is an in-depth exploration into the sorted lives of a group of hip Los Angeles denizens attempting to cope with the demons that haunt their dreams. The film screened at the Whistler Film Festival and the New York International Film and Video Festival, winning several awards including Best Arthouse Feature, Best Directorial Debut, Best Supporting Actress (Kristanna Loken), and Panavision presented its New Filmmaker's Award to Agnello based on the script.

Independent Film Quarterly critic, Todd Konrad, says, "It is emotionally wrenching and visually surreal. Agnello radiates brokenness like a cracked porcelain doll."
