Bonham -- A slate of expert speakers and dozens of colorful booths made the fourth annual Fannin County Master Gardeners Garden & Lawn Show  the most successful in the event's four-year history.

Gardeners made the trek from southern Oklahoma and from several counties all across North Texas to listen to a variety of experts speakers pass along their knowledge, purchase flowers and equipment for their lawns and gardens, plus shop at the many arts and craft booths set up inside the spacious Multi-Purpose Complex.

This was the second year the Fannin County Master Gardeners Garden & Lawn Show was held at the Complex and a full parking lot Saturday morning was just one indication this event is getting more popular every year.

The tree give-away by Fannin Soil and Water Conservation District and the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service was a big draw at the event.
