Bonham -- There was something for everyone at the 2006 Spring Break in Bonham! Bluegrass Festival.

Tight harmonies, sizzling guitar runs, banjos trading riffs with mandolins, the steady bottom line of a stand-up bass...the second annual Spring Break in Bonham Bluegrass Festival had it all.

Highlighted by outstanding sets from Bill Grant and Vern Young, two grand gentlemen of the bluegrass circuit, and featuring bands all the way from Missouri to favorites from the Metroplex, music fans found plenty to appreciate at this family-oriented music festival.

While the crowd was larger in 2008 than for the inaugural bluegrass show, the potential of this event is only beginning to materialize.

Special thanks to Ladonia, Texas native Eva Feagley and the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce for organizing the second annual Bluegrass in Bonham Festival.
