Bonham, Texas -- Habitat for Humanity of Fannin County deeply appreciates the donation by Brookshire’s to help support the build in Honey Grove.

The building of the third Habitat home in Fannin County is off to a good start and the Ray family of Honey Grove is very excited about the prospect of owning their own home.

“Every donation brings us one step closer to being able to complete the Honey Grove home in a timely manner,” says Board President Lisbeth Echeandia. “Habitat affiliates rely primarily on local donations of monies and materials to help build the homes for our partner families as cost effectively as possible. We very much appreciate Brookshire’s generosity.

“It’s always important to point out that Habitat is not a giveaway program!” she went on to explain.  “In addition to a down payment and the monthly mortgage payments homeowners invest hundreds of hours of their own labor – “sweat equity” – into building their house and the houses of others. I encourage you to call us today and be part of Fannin County Habitat!”

(L-R) Lloyd Nicholson, Habitat Board Member, Marvin Wroten, Assistant Store Manager, Brookshire’s Bonham, Board President Lisbeth Echeandia and Board Member David McClure accept the generous donation check from Brookshire’s Grocery Company.
