State and Nationals Competitions
It is time to register for the 3rd Annual 2008 Texas-National Archery in the Schools Tournament!
This year we have added teams to the tournament format. We want to have a larger Texas presence at the 2008 National Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky (May 10, 2008) so mark your calendars! First place team winners in each division are automatically qualified to attend the National Tournament. 1st-5th place male and female Individual winners qualify to attend and additional teams may attend with qualifying team scores. Complete National Tournament information will be available at the State Tournament.
Scholarships, trophies, ribbons, t-shirts, overall individual winners of male and female individual divisions receive a genesis bow!!!
WHERE: Mayborn Convention Center, Temple
WHEN: Friday, MARCH 28, 2008
Shooting Times: 8 AM, 10 AM, 12 PM and 2 PM
COST: $20.00 per student
Schools that teach archery (NASP) as part of the in-school curriculum are qualified to compete in this tournament.
Shooters must be ready to march to their lane assignment 15 minutes before their assigned shooting time. To meet this line-up time requirement, schools should arrive at the tournament registration desk at least 1 hour before their shooting time. Bus parking will be in the rear parking lot. Students and equipment may be dropped off and picked up in front of the convention center.
