FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 1, 2008—Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) announced today the appointment of Tim Niedecken as TSCRA’s executive director of association services.
Niedecken’s responsibilities will include oversight of TSCRA’s services to the members; supporting the Association Promotion committee’s successful grassroots membership recruitment
campaigns; supervision of TSCRA’s involvement in the Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) program; coordinating support and development of the School for Successful Ranching program; and providing
industry support and coordination of industry affinity programs that increase member value and benefits.
With a rich background in the cattle industry, Niedecken comes to TSCRA from serving most recently as marketing manager for Micro Beef Technologies. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 1997 and
a master’s degree in 1998 from Texas A&M University.
“Tim has the advantage of a strong foundation in marketing, business, and information technologies, which should provide the association with numerous assets,” Eldon White, TSCRA executive vice president said. “Not only is he knowledgeable about the cattle business, he’s also aware of where it’s headed, with the rapid advancement of technologies available today. We are very fortunate to have him on staff.”
