2008 Texoma Earth Conference slated Aug 8 at GCC

The 2008 Texoma Earth Conference is scheduled for August 8 at the Grayson County College, Denison Campus.  The conference is open to the public and is designed to provide information on environmental topics that impact our daily lives. 

There will be demonstrations on rainwater harvesting and composting and sessions on Texas waterways clean-up, recycling, agricultural diversification and whitetail deer habitat management, to name a few. 

Speakers range from Texas A & M to Keep Texas Beautiful to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.  Exhibitors will also be at the event with free information. 

Registration begins at 8:00, and the keynote address starts at 9:00.  Concurrent sessions on Keep Texas Beautiful, Municipal Solid Waste, and Eco-Resources and Marketing begin at 9:50.  You may pick and chose what sessions you would like to attend.
