North Texas -- The key to health maintenance, weight balance and sustained vitality can be found in a well-supported immune system, say the organizers of a free afternoon seminar that will be held at The Plano Station in Historic Downtown Plano.
The event's featured guest speaker will be Dr. Hellen Greenblatt, who holds a dual doctorate in microbiology and immunology from State University of New York. Dr. Greenblatt is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the American Society of Nutrition.
"Years of extensive research and study into immune health have revealed the importance of balance in maintaining a healthy immune system," says Dr. Greenblatt. "My studies then went one step further, to discover the natural means beyond nutrition that support the immune system in its quest for balance."
This has led Dr. Greenblatt to the patenting of a new technology from a natural source – eggs.
Today, she is regarded by many to be the foremost authority on polyvalent hyperimmune egg technology and its impact on the immune system. In her drive to share what her research has revealed, Dr. Greenblatt has lectured extensively on the technology throughout the world including the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa.
The seminar will help individuals to better understand how their immune system functions and relates to all other health systems.
"Focusing on maintaining a vigorous immune system rather than on things like the numbers on the scale or the superficial and physiological signs of aging can put people on a path to achieving their health goals and make it easier for them to put energy into habits that will improve their wellbeing," says event organizers, Debbie Brown and Sue Moore. "Recognizing that the immune system underpins all systems is the first step in taking a new approach to health maintenance."
The seminar is open to health practitioners and members of the public interested in understanding the immune system's role in maintaining better health. It will take place June 1, 2008 at 4:30 p.m.,The Plano Station, 1012 E. 16th St., Plano, TX. Following the seminar, Dr. Greenblatt will remain on-hand to answer questions and she will meet one-on-one for those wishing to discuss their questions in private.
