2008-09 cheerleading squad announced at Texas A&M University-Commerce

Texas A&M University-Commerce announced today the selection of 14 members of the 2008-09 cheerleading squad under the direction of Kelly Daily. After an extensive tryout conducted on Saturday, April 26, the selection of the following 14 individuals was decided.

Among those selected are six graduating high school students and another that is a transfer student from Grayson County Community College, who will enroll into A&M-Commerce in the fall of 2008 as well as two current freshman and a sophomore.

The cheerleading squad at A&M-Commerce plays an integral support to the fans and participants of the intercollegiate athletic department. Tryouts for the mascot will be conducted later this spring.
