City of Bonham hiring FD FF/Paramedic, Paramedic

The City of Bonham is accepting applications for the position of
FF/Paramedic, Paramedic, and FF/EMT.

Firefighter/EMT candidates must be currently enrolled in and within three (3) months of completing an approved paramedic curriculum. Qualified applicants should be between the ages of 19 and 45, posses a high school diploma or GED, clean driving record, and certified as a Paramedic with the Texas Department of State Health Services and/or National Registry or eligible to be certified within the next six (6) months. Certification as Basic Structural Firefighter with the Texas Commission on Fire Protection is preferable.

Starting annual pay of $29,470.83 - $33,877.97 DOQ. Applications are available Monday - Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM at City Hall, 301 East 5th Street, Bonham, TX 75418 or on the City of Bonham website, www.cobon.net, or www.bonhamfirerescue.org. Deadline for receiving applications is Thursday January 3rd at 5:00 PM.

The written test will be at the Bonham Fire Department Station 1 (2509 North Center) on Friday, January 4th at 6:00 PM. The physical
