The Ector 8th grade boys (2-0) poured in 24 points in a busy first period and led Bland 32-24 at intermission.  Ector's offense went bact to work in the second half, scoring 15 points in each of the final two quarters to pull away for a 19-point victory.

Jacob Crowell scored 17 points to pace the Ector scoring, but 10 8th grade Eagles scratched the scorebook in this high-scoring affair.

Kyle Wells had 11 points, Aron Mercer knocked down nine points, Bradley Bingham scored six, Erick Nino and Perry Crouch each finished with five points, Chad Clement and Caleb Stephens contributed three points apiece, Landon Galloway had two points and Korey Smith netted a free throw.
