Honey Grove -- Norma Jene Davis Tessmer, 73 of Garland, Texas, passed away Sat. Nov. 17, 2007 at her home in Garland. Funeral services were 2:00P.M. Tues. Nov. 20, 2007 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Honey Grove, TX.  Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery near Honey Grove.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Spencer Davis, Jr., Robert Ed West, David Dewberry, James Archer, Bill Talbert and Vinson Woodlee.

Family visitation will be 11:00A.M. until service time Tuesday.

Mrs. Tessmer was born Jan. 17, 1934 in Lamar County, Texas to Luther Merrick Troy Davis and Obinetta Nell Spencer Davis.

She married Charles William Tessmer Mar. 25, 1976 in Sherman, TX and he preceded her in death July 2003.

She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation in Dallas, TX. She extended her education at East Texas State Teacher’s College in Commerce, TX. and was a Private Secretary.

She is survived by her Brother & Sister in Law, Jerry & Vicki Davis of Campbell, TX. and Nephew, Jerry Spencer Davis, Jr. of Greenville, TX.
