White Oak will be taking their 41-1 season record to the state tournament after posting a three-game win over Royse City in the Region II-3A Semifinals played Saturday evening at Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Kristin Secord led White Oak with 10 kills and teammate Emily Bybell added eight.

Kellie Wyrick paced Royse City with eight kills and 19 tip attacks.

White Oak registered an impressive 25-16 win in the opener and then fought off Royse City 26-24 in an important game two.  A 25-14 victory in game three gave White Oak the sweep.

Royse City ended their year 28-11-2.
