The Savoy Cardinal Athletic Booster Club held its first annual Meet the Cardinals Night for the boys and girls basketball teams Tuesday night in the high school gym.

During the event, every player from junior through varsity was recognized, each of the coaches gave a quick pep talk and the players were able to demonstrate the new shoot a way gun that the booster club helped to purchase. There were over 100 people in attendance for evenings festivities which began at 6:00 with a hamburger supper provided by the booster club.

The Cardinals are looking forward to the start of this season which begins next Tuesday at 4:30 in Celeste.
