The Savoy FFA radiobroadcast team consisting of Jessica Lewis, Kylie Lewis, and Traci Dillard brought home the district VI championship in the FFA Leadership Contest last week. This qualifies them for the Area V Contest on November 17.

One standout fact concerning the team’s success was that they used an original script prepared with the help of their advisor Mr. Kevin Dillard.  Mr. Dillard was very pleased to be heading to area.

“They did an outstanding job," Mr. Dillard said of the team.  "It was great when we found out that we had won.”

This contest involves a simulated radio broadcast conducted by the students. They are judged on script, presentation, and vocal quality.
Traci Dillard also competed in Sr. Creed Speaking and placed 4th.
