We ran an article today on North Texas e-News that was meant to be motivational, but it may have missed its mark.  My job is to be sure e-news is always positive and I apologize for any distress I caused.  About once a year a writer or coach will watch something that was well intended go south.    This one went south on me and I apologize. 

I kinda worry now that my write-up of the Bonham-Princeton volleyball game may have sounded harsh, too.  Maybe I take for granted that the Warriors and Lady Warriors understand I feel very fortunate to work around here.  The best part of my job is trying to make this news format work for families and youngsters I care deeply about. 

If you see me over in a corner grumbling, it isn't about who got the point or even who won the game...it's because I missed my shot.  And that could have been the photo you wanted to show your grandkids.
