Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays -- October 23 through November 10
Kids ages five through twelve have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of stage productions in Theater Arts Camp. The young entertainers-to-be will gain experience in acting, blocking and stage directions, set design and construction, and using their "stage voices."
The classes will meet from 4:30 to 6:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 9:00 to noon on Saturdays. This adds up to twenty-one hours of hands-on involvement in drama! The cost of the camp is $60 and includes all materials and supplies.
The last day of Theater Arts Camp will feature a performance by the students. The teacher/director of the camp is a professional actor who also holds a current Texas teaching certificate. His credits include stage and TV appearances and teaching theater arts in numerous Dallas-area private schools.
Enrollment is limited; interested persons are encouraged to sign up early. The deadline for registration is Friday, October 19. Additional information can be obtained by calling or visiting the Creative Arts Center.
