Denison -- The Paris Wildcats took a 21-3 lead and then held off a determined Denison team to win 28-25.  Paris improves to 3-1 on the season and the loss leaves Denison at 1-3.

A Denison field goal got the scoring started, but Paris speedster Courtney Hill returned the ensuing kickoff 90 yards to pay dirt.  Running behind a powerful offensive line, the Wildcats added a pair of touchdowns in the second stanza before Denison began closing ground.

The Jackets got a field goal and a TD in the closing moments of the first half and contained the potent Wildcat offense in the second half, but the early Paris lead was too much to overcome.  The Wildcats escaped with a three-point win, 28-25.

Denison's Shalamar Traylor had to sit this one out after suffering a concussion earlier in the week.
