The Whitesboro Lady Cats evened their district mark at 2-2 with a three-game win over the Gainesville Lady Leopards on Tuesday. The Lady Cats edged the Lady Leopards 25-22 in the pivotal opener and Whitesboro reeled off wins of 25-20 and 25-18 to get the sweep.
Leticia Silva and Kortney Beebe both had a double-digit kill match. Silva knocked down 16 kills and Beebe finished with 10. Evan Beste contributed six kills and Brittany Davis added five kills as Whitesboro's setters gave all their hitters plenty of opportunities.
Stephanie Morrow dished off 15 assists in addition to her three kills and Chelsey Roberts had 12 assists.
Rachael Stringer led the Lady Cats with a dozen digs and Brooke Wilson came up with five digs.
Whitesboro (14-12, 2-2) will travel to Pilot Point on Saturday at 1:00.
