HOUSTON, TX The book by new author Adam Herring has an underlining theme which poses a challenge to the Christian community. The theme he feels so strongly about is Christians should always reexamine and change their current way of thinking about faith, forgiveness, and salvation. The thought provoking collection also contains poems that expound on music, musicians, soldiers, veterans, and the working class.

As the author puts it, "If we start to discredit or doubt a believer based on our own way of thinking, not God's, then we should challenge our beliefs, so as not to alienate that person. God forgives and uses anyone. Not to mention, never forget to give respect and gratitude toward those we normally overlook in everyday life."

Poems like, "Will Work For Food" explore how some in the Church judge a person based on appearance. While "Going West" reminds that God uses anyone based on willingness, no matter rich or poor. There are many other examples throughout.

Also a talented graphic artist, Adam has illustrated the book using images created on his home computer.
