DURANT, Okla. - Southeastern Oklahoma State coach Tony Robinson announced his first three signings of the Savage Storm's 2007 recruiting class Friday afternoon.
"This is an exciting and talented group of players that are more than capable of continuing the great basketball legacy here at Southeastern," Robinson said. "The class will grow in the coming weeks."
Elk City's Matt Jones, former Sherman High standout Jeff Ellis and hometown product Will Robinson are among the first players to sign National Letters of Intent for the Savage Storm.
Jones, a 6-foot all-state guard, a very athletic and intelligent player that starred behind University of Oklahoma signee Cade Davis at Elk City High.

Ellis, a 6-5 forward, will graduate St. Charles West High School in St. Charles, Mo. this spring after ranking among the St. Louis Gateway Athletic Conference leaders in scoring, rebounds, steals and blocks.
"Jeff more than held his own in a great St. Louis league," Robinson said. "He averaged double-doubles throughout high school and an intelligent, tough player."
