Andrea Billings and Justin Ward wed December 31

Justin Edward Ward and Andrea Elizabeth Billings were wed December 31, 2005 in Savoy, Texas.  Josh Linton, minister for the Savoy Church of Christ, officiated.  Parents of the groom are Russell & Vickie Smith of Luella, and Edward Ward.  Parents of the bride are Barry & Vicky Billings of Savoy.  Grandparents of the groom are Henry & Vera Willingham, Bergie & Nancy Stuteville, Ginger Bowling, and George & Rhonda Ward.  Grandparents of the bride are John & Lorene Hawk and Eleanor Billings Haller and the late Bruce Billings. 

The bride was attended by her high school classmates and sisters.  Maid of Honor was Megan Malone, and Bethany Billings Yert served as Matron of Honor.  Bridesmaids were Crystal Pointer, Rachel Sutterfield, Bonnie Billings, Mindy Woodson, Miranda Moore, and Beth Gibbs Waggoner.  Chance Harmon and Cody Bedell served the groom as Best Men.  Groomsmen were Chris Garner, Ricky Collett, and Clint Moore.  Honorary Groomsmen and Ushers were Caleb Howard, Roy Fuller, Shawn Counts and brother of the groom, Ross Ward.  Bonnie Billings, sister of the bride, served as Flower Maiden, while Landon Collum, nephew of the groom, served as the Li’l Dude of Honor.  Souvenir programs and chocolate kisses were presented to guests by Maidens of Giving, Hanna Howard and Shelby Sifford, cousins of the bride. 

Immediately following the vows of Justin and Andrea, another couple was united in marriage.  Eleanor Gauvin Billings, grandmother of the bride, wed Bobby Haller.  The newlyweds, Justin and Andrea, sang “I Cross My Heart” before the exchange of their vows and rings.  Bethany and Bonnie Billings, granddaughters, served as bridal attendants.  Barry Billings, eldest son, gave the bride away. 

Justin is a graduate of Tom Bean High School and Haz-Co Fire Academy.  He has received firefighter and EMT certifications.  Andrea is a 2005 graduate of Savoy High School and attends the University of Texas at Austin.  The couple will reside in Austin following a honeymoon retreat at Tanglewood resort.
