Rock music set the stage as the "Ice Man" wielded chain saw and chisel to carve the Fort Worth skyline out of huge blocks of ice at the grand opening party for the new Park Place Motorcars Fort Worth. The event marked the return of the Mercedes-Benz brand to Fort Worth after a 20 year absence.

Situated on seven acres, the new 40,000-square-foot dealership incorporates a new design concept for Mercedes-Benz USA. A full-glass showroom is accented with a blue entry portal and a 35-foot tall brushed aluminum tower. The showroom accommodates up to 10 vehicles. More than 13,000 square-feet are dedicated to the service area, which offers 22 bays.

Jeremy Miller, president of Sales & Marketing for Supreme Lending Mid-Cities (http://www.supremelending.com/jeremymiller/), won a four day vacation at his choice of any Dream Catcher Retreats home anywhere in the world, including roundtrip, first-class airfare. Located within four- or five-star resorts in the most desirable locations on earth, the average price of a Dream Catcher home is $3.25 million.

"Next spring, I plan to take 11 of my closest business colleagues to the Casa Primera Luz in Cabo San Lucas," says Miller. "I'm looking forward to lots of golf, deep sea fishing, and the spa."

Members of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America-Fort Worth section displayed more than a half-dozen vintage Mercedes, ranging from a rare 1953 300S to a display of three successive generations of SLs: a '61 190SL; a '71 290SL; and an '89 560SL. Park Place Motorcars Fort Worth is located at 5601 South Bryant Irvin Road, just south of I-20.
