Fannin County, Texas -- The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) officials have announced that C.E. Barker Ltd. of Houston, TX will be rehabilitating Park Road 24, parking lots and campsite pullouts within the Bonham State Park.
The contractor has been granted 57 working days to complete the $1,835,767.08 project. The contractor plans to begin work on Monday, January 6, 2025, weather permitting. The contract is anticipated to be completed in May of 2025.
Daytime lane closures will be required during construction. The traveling public is requested to observe signs and barricades and to approach work zones cautiously with reduced speed.
