A Historical Cemetery marker for the Everheart-Canaan Cemetery will be dedicated on Saturday May 21, 2005 at 2 PM.

The Whitewright Historical Society and the Everheart Cemetery Association will host the dedication. Refreshments will be served after the dedication.

The cemetery is located about one-half mile west of US 69N between Whitewright and Bells. There is an “Everheart Cemetery” sign on US 69. Turn west on Penny Road and the cemetery is about one-half mile on the right.
