She was born on July 20, 1978, to Loretta Patterson and James Leftrick.

Jamie was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and devoted grandmother and friend to many. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughs, an infectious sense of humor that touched many, and her one-of-a-kind personality.

Known by many for her dance moves that only she could do, her big smile, and wild approach to some. She loved going to Bingo on Friday nights with her cousin Tristie, hanging out with her family at cookouts where she wasn’t allowed to cook anything because, if you know, you know. She also enjoyed attending church and singing in the choir. She graduated from Bonham High School, and she later became a CNA and worked at the Bonham VA before her health just wasn’t allowing her to continue to work.

Jamie is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, her daughter; A’zisa Chambers, her cousins; Kedaylen Holt, Terel King, and a host of uncles and aunts.

She is survived by her mother and father; Loretta Patterson, James Leftrick; her three children, Tanesha Leftrick, Megan Leftrick, and Chance West Harvey; her grandchildren, Nyla and Aria Johnson; her husband, Earl Rhodes; sister, April Patterson; and brothers, Tyron Leftrick, Jamieson Patterson, and Jeffrey Leftrick.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home, Bonham, Texas.
