Grayson County, Texas -- The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) officials today announced that there will be nighttime road closures on US 75 mainlanes.

• US 75 southbound right lane from Hall Cemetery Road to Exit 52 will be closed from Sept. 24, 8 p.m. to Sept. 25, 5 a.m.

• US 75 southbound right lane from FM 121 to the Entrance Ramp to FM 121 will be closed from Sept. 24, 8 p.m. to Sept. 25, 5 a.m.

• US 75 northbound right lane from Northridge Road to Redden Road will be closed from Sept. 24, 8 p.m. to Sept. 25, 5 a.m.

These closures are needed to safely move concrete traffic barrier. Message boards will be placed ahead of the work location to alert drivers.

All closures are subject to being delayed or altered due to weather conditions, mechanical issues or material supply issues.

During this period, TxDOT urges drivers to exercise caution. Motorists who travel frequently in this area are asked to pay special attention to all barricades, traffic controls, and signs, and to reduce their speed as they approach and travel through work zones. Motorists should also avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating, drinking, or car audio or navigation systems. TxDOT also asks drivers to remain alert to road crews while navigating through the construction zone.
