The traffic pattern change will allow westbound Spur 503 motorists to cross over US 75 on the new Spur 503 bridge. Motorists will then stop at an all-way stop and then be able to access the southbound frontage road. Motorists will follow the southbound frontage road to the new Texoma Health Foundation Park driveway, turn right and follow the driveway to an all-way stop. Motorists will be able to continue straight into the Texoma Health Foundation Park or turn left and continue along the southbound frontage road to FM 691.
Motorists traveling southbound on US 75 will need to take Exit 65, to Spur 503, then proceed through the all-way stop intersection and follow the signs to continue south on the frontage road to access FM 691 and the hospital.
All changes to traffic are subject to being delayed/altered due to weather conditions, mechanical issues, or material supply issues.
During this period, TxDOT urges drivers to exercise caution. Motorists who travel frequently in this area are asked to pay special attention to all barricades, traffic controls, and signs, and to reduce their speed as they approach and travel through work zones. Motorists should also avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating, drinking, or car audio or navigation systems. TxDOT also asks drivers to remain alert to road crews while navigating through the construction zone.
