Frisco, Texas -- Kaleidoscope Park Foundation invites the community to celebrate another exciting year of bringing people together through free arts, culture, wellness, and recreation programming with a special Anniversary Weekend celebration featuring a birthday-themed day packed with family-friendly activities, pet-friendly fun, and live entertainment.
The festivities will take place Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Kaleidoscope Park and offer something for visitors of all ages, from a petting zoo and face painting to a community birthday celebration and ending the day with a concert on the Performance Lawn.
"Our anniversary is a celebration of the community that has embraced Kaleidoscope Park as a place to connect, create memories, and enjoy meaningful experiences together," said Shawn Jackson. "We invite everyone to join us as we reflect on another incredible year and look ahead to many more."
Family Fun Zone and Vendor Market | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The birthday festivities will begin in the Arts Plaza with the Family Fun Zone, where children and families can enjoy:
A petting zoo
Face painting
Balloon artists
Story time and character meet-and-greets
Complimentary Chobani birthday yogurt while supplies last
Live music from a DJ
Local vendors
Interactive activities and surprises throughout the day
Dog Paw-ty
Dog lovers are encouraged to bring their four-legged family members to join the fun. Visitors can explore the Happy FurEver Dog Park area featuring pet-focused vendors offering products and services for pets and their owners. Pups can also stop by a special
dog treat food truck serving up tail-wagging snacks and goodies designed just for them.
Community Birthday Celebration | 2 p.m.
At 2 p.m., guests are invited to gather for a special birthday celebration honoring Kaleidoscope Park's anniversary. The community will join together to sing "Happy Birthday" to the Park and enjoy complimentary sweet treats while supplies last.
Emerald City Band Concert | 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
The celebration concludes with a high-energy performance from Emerald City Band on the Performance Lawn.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, grab dinner from on-site food trucks, and enjoy an evening of live music as the community commemorates another memorable year at Kaleidoscope Park.
Kaleidoscope Park continues to serve as a welcoming gathering place for North Texas residents and visitors, offering over 200 free programs and events that foster connection, creativity, and community throughout the year.
