Leonard, Texas -- Although still early in her junior season, Leonard setter Ava Flowers continues to leave her mark on the school record book.
Flowers handed out her 2,000th career assist on August 14, 2026 in a win over Rains during the Sulphur Springs Volleyball Tournament.
The Leonard Lady Tigers celebrated Flowers's remarkable achievement in front of their hometown fans on Friday, August 28 after sweeping Whitewright. It was Leonard's first match at home since Flowers hit the milestone.
In a sign of more good things to come for the Leonard volleyball program, Leonard's JV Blue team competed in the Como-Pickton Varsity Tournament where they won the Silver Bracket.
