Step into the past at Fall Living History Days

Denison, Texas -- Get ready for ringing anvils, cannon fire, Old West gun fights, live music, historic demonstrations, and plenty of hands-on history at Frontier Village & Museum’s Fall Living History Days.

On three special Saturdays this fall, the Village will come alive with re-enactors, craftsmen, traditional skills, and activities that give visitors a chance to experience history beyond the pages of a book. Wander through the historic grounds, visit the buildings, talk with interpreters, and see how people once worked, created, and entertained themselves.

You might watch a blacksmith at the forge, see butter made the old-fashioned way, catch an artisan demonstration, or hear the boom of the Village cannon. Old West gun fights, live music, and other activities add even more energy to the day.

Living History Days are a great outing for families, history enthusiasts, students, and anyone looking for something fun and different to do on a fall Saturday. Demonstrations and activities may vary by date, so visitors are welcome to come back for more than one event.
