After competing in tournaments in Sulphur Springs and North Hopkins, sandwiched around a dual meet at North Lamar, the Leonard Lady Tigers are off to a 14-4 start.

Leonard went 4-2 in Sulphur Springs, with wins over Greenville, Rains, Prairiland and Mount Vernon, while dropping matches to Paris and Sulphur Springs.

Fans of the Lady Tigers got their money's worth with a pair of five-set thrillers at a dual match at North Lamar. Leonard knocked off Class 5A Texas High 3-2, before eventually falling to the No. 3 team in Class 4A, North Lamar, in five sets.

At the North Hopkins Volleyball Tournament, Leonard went 8-1 to finish as the Consolation Champions in the Gold Bracket.

The Leonard Lady Tigers will travel to Grayson Christian School for a match on Tuesday before hosting Whitewright on Friday.
