Dallas, Texas -- Champions Social Club, North Dallas’ newest private membership social club, is welcoming August with a thoughtfully curated calendar of member experiences. Designed to bring people together through shared experiences, elevated hospitality and competitive camaraderie, Champions Social Club ensures that each event offers a chance to make real connections and create memorable moments.
For a limited time, Champions Social Club is offering complimentary one-year social memberships. Throughout the month of August, members are invited to enjoy a variety of experiences and activations, including live entertainment, country and salsa dance lessons and classic karaoke. Games of skill and strategy, such as poker, chess and mahjong, will be available to those looking to play or learn.

Saturday, Aug. 29 | 8 – 10 p.m. | UMX: The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience
Celebrate the King of Pop on his birthday with UMX, the Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience. The band performs at The Dolly Lounge & Bar and will feature timeless classics by the legendary artist.
DANCE LESSONS
Thursday, Aug. 6 | 7 – 9 p.m. | Two Step Thursday: Country Dance Lessons
Get your boots on and head over to the Dolly Lounge dance lessons with a professional two-step instructor. Guests can learn classic Texas Dance Hall line dances or timeless two step with a partner.
Thursday, Aug. 13 | 7 – 9 p.m. | Salsa Lessons
Get your dancing shoes on and learn the fiery rhythm of salsa from a professional salsa dance instructor. Lessons will take place in the Dolly Lounge, and you’re welcome to bring a partner.
CHESS KING OF THE HILL
Thursdays, Aug. 6, 13, 20, 27 | 6 – 10 p.m. | King of the Hill: Chess Open Play
Take a chance to claim the crown every Thursday. Sign up to battle in a high-stakes game of 3/2 blitz chess. Open boards will be available to those not wanting to participate in the challenge. Drink specials will be available all night. The event is for ages 21 and up.
BEGINNER POKER EXPERIENCES
Thursdays, Aug. 6, 13, 20 and Sunday, Aug. 16 | Time varies by date | First Hand: Poker 101
Master the fundamentals of Texas Hold'em, from table etiquette to winning chip strategies. Learn how to read the table and trust your instincts before buying in to the $10 beginners’ tournament. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro – the event is open to all. Lessons take place every Thursday in August at 6 p.m. and on Sunday, August 16 at 11 a.m.
Friday, Aug. 28 | 6 – 9 p.m. | Rookie Rumble: Beginners Poker Tournament
Elevate your weekly card game with Champions Social Club's Rookie Rumble, a poker tournament for beginners. Socialize and play beyond your usual circle with stakes perfect for casual players, home game heroes, and newcomers to the felt. Winners will be awarded prizes that they can use in club credit.
FAMILY GAME DAY
Sunday, Aug. 9 | 3 – 6 p.m. | Little Champions: Family Game Day
Families are invited to a Sunday family game day. Bring your board games or play from a variety of options such as Battleship, Clue and more. The event is for ages 5 and up.
MAHJONG NIGHT
Wednesday, Aug. 26 | 6:30 – 9 p.m. | Mahjong & Martinis
Enjoy a night of classic mahjong and refreshing martinis. Whether you’re a Mahjong pro or wanting to learn, no experience is necessary. Learn to play with instructor Jovann Walker who will be on hand to teach the basics or help you sharpen your skills. Bites and drinks will be available to order all evening long.
