This is official notice that there will be a Public Hearing at 5:00 pm, Monday, July 6, 2026, in the Council Chambers of the Sherman City Hall, 220 W. Mulberry St., Sherman, Texas, for the following Ordinances. The Meeting at which these items are to be considered is open to the public as required by law.

Amending The Code Of Ordinances Of The City Of Sherman, Texas, Chapter 1(General Provision), Article 1.08 (Cemeteries), Section 1.08.074 (Sale Price Of Grave Space And Lots) And Section 1.08.075 (Fees For Cemetery Services); Modifying Certain Fees For Cemetery Services; Providing A Penalty Clause With A Maximum Fine Of $500, Savings/Repealing Clause, Severability Clause And An Effective Date; Providing For The Publication Of The Caption Hereof

Extending The Corporate Limits Of Said City So As To Annex An Area Of Land Consisting Of Approximately 183.681 Acres Of Land Located Generally Located East Of US 75 And South Of Tate Circle And In The City Of Sherman's Extraterritorial Jurisdiction, On Application Of The Landowner; Providing That The Owners And Inhabitants Of The Subject Area Of Land Shall Be Entitled To The Rights And Privileges Of Other Citizens Of The City Of Sherman And Shall Be Bound By The Acts And Ordinances Now In Effect And Hereinafter Adopted; Authorizing Execution Of The Annexation Service Plan Agreement; Providing For A Penalty For A Violation Of This Ordinance And The Code Of Ordinances Of The City Of Sherman, Texas, Chapter 14 (Zoning Ordinance); Providing A Savings/Repealing Clause, Severability Clause And An Effective Date
