3rd Annual Praise Fest Haggard Park — June 17

• Details: Local churches, community leaders and residents from across the city will join for an uplifting evening filled with powerful praise music, heartfelt fellowship and joyful celebration as faith, freedom and unity are celebrated. 

Culture & Vibes Fest - Urban Trivia Live at McCall Plaza — June 19

• Time & Location: 5:30-10 p.m. | McCall Plaza, located at 998 E. 15th, Plano TX 75074

• Details: Plano is kicking off Juneteenth with dynamic speakers, vibrant vendors and nonstop music at the Culture & Vibes Fest. Live cover bands, talented local artists and a marketplace will connect the community in the heart of Plano.

Juneteenth Fashion Show — June 19

Presented by Legacy West and produced by Think Three Media

• Time & Location: Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; official event at 7 p.m. | Lexus Box Garden at Legacy Hall

• Details: This powerful celebration of the contributions of the African-American community in fashion, design and entertainment will honor the global cultural influence of the African-descended communities around the world. A selection of 9 designers and retailers will work the runway displaying an array of colorful, bold, and vibrant designs styled to this year’s theme, “Ubuntu: Together, We Are – Together, We Rise,” while veteran media personalities will host the event, providing top-notch energy.

Plano Juneteenth “King of the Grill” Cook-Off — June 20

• Time & Location: 3-5 p.m. | Plano Boys and Girls Club, located at 1111 H. Ave., Plano, TX 75074

• Details: Contestants will arrive with their signature dishes hot, ready to serve and packed with bold, smoky flavor that will have the crowd talking and tasting all day long. This celebration of community and culinary pride will feature a panel of local judges who will sample each entry and score the competitors to determine who will earn the coveted 2026 King of the Grill Title.

Main Event: Written In The Stone Douglass Community BBQ Festival — June 20

• Time & Location: 3-8:30 p.m. | Plano Boys and Girls Club, located at 1111 H. Ave., Plano, TX 75074

• Details: Following the “King of the Grill” Cook-Off, the evening continues with food trucks, powerful spoken word performances, a fun-filled Kids Zone and live entertainment. Free barbecue will be available for a limited time!

Plano’s All American 4th!

• Time & Location: July 4 at 6 p.m. | Oak Point Park Special Events Field

• Details: Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at the All American 4th event. On Saturday, July 4, an unforgettable evening will take place with free family fun, including games, food and drinks (available for purchase), and a spectacular fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. simulcast live on 97.5 KLAKE!
