On June 11, 2026, the seventh and eighth cases of NWS were confirmed - one in a Zavala County bovine and one in an Edwards County goat. Additional zones and changes to existing zones will be posted to the TAHC website and updated in the interactive map once they are officially established.
Animal owners should continue to be vigilant for suspicious wounds and comply with the movement restrictions in place.
