William Forster Macsisak
Born April 14, 1951, Died May 31, 2026

Leonard, Texas -- Bill was born at Perrin Air Force Base in Sherman, Texas, second son to Stephen and Sally Jo (Foster) Macsisak of Leonard, Texas.  Bill was the grandson of Slovakian immigrants Michael and Mary Macsisak, and great-grandchild of James and Sara Foster, pioneers of Fannin County, Texas. Bill has been a longtime resident of Plano, Texas.

Bill was a 1969 Graduate of Leonard High School. He attended ETSU and received a BS in History in 1973. He continued his education at ETSU and graduated with his MBA in 1978.

Bill worked for the State of Texas Social Services in Bonham for seven years. He finished his career as an accountant and agent for the US IRS, serving our government for many, many years.

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns, and driving to his farm between Trenton and Leonard, and of course his dog! He was always up to discussing Fannin County History! He grew up in the Leonard Methodist Church! Although he did not attend Church regularly as an adult, his Methodist roots remained in his heart!

Bill was a loving uncle to Travis, his nephew, and Ashley, his niece. He spent most weekends as some sporting event for one of them, or as a babysitter for them. Bill bought Travis his first cell phone, a big deal at that time.

Bill was proceeded in death by his parents, Steve and Sally Jo (Foster) Macsisak.  He is survived by an older brother, Stephen Macsisak, wife Patty of Leonard; two younger sisters, Mary Ann Macsisak Wilson and Wally of Dallas; Alice (Macsisak) and Stan Coker of Dallas. He leaves one nephew, Travis Coker of Dallas; and one niece, Ashley Coker Pettz of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Lastly, Bill had two great nieces, Avery and Emma Pettz. Bill leaves extended family cousins Betty Jordan, Ester Whilhite, Jennifer Jordan, Lucia Bitner and others!

Bill also had one lifelong friend, Mickey Trusty! Mickey was always there for Bill. Thanks Mickey!
