Arlington, Texas — The “Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show” will rev up the fun on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Starting at 9:00 a.m., the family-friendly, annual street festival will fill Vandergriff Town Center and spill out into the downtown streets with a celebration of community and a trip down automotive memory lane.

This year’s Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show will be bigger than ever, featuring more than 250 classic vehicles. From coupes to roadsters, the impressive lineup will span generations. Owners will be on hand to share their enthusiasm and talk shop.

“With the eyes of the world on Arlington on the eve of the World Cup, we’re excited to welcome international visitors alongside our longtime car show patrons,” said Maggie Campbell, President and CEO of the Downtown Arlington Management Corporation. “Every car has a story, and this summer our community gets to share those stories on a bigger stage. Whether you’re a car enthusiast or just visiting Arlington, there’s something
here for everyone.”

Presented by Downtown Arlington, the event is free and open to the public. Proceeds from car registration fees will benefit the Arlington Police Foundation.

In celebration of the craftsmanship on display, owners will compete for honors, trophies, and prizes including Best of Show and People's Choice Awards. Winners will be announced at the 2:15 p.m. Awards Ceremony at Rotary DREAM Park. Caroline Vandergriff, great-granddaughter of Vandergriff Town Center’s namesake Hooker Vandergriff, will serve as emcee and present the awards.

Generous support of the Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show comes from Gold Sponsors including the City of Arlington, Candlelite Inn, Caravan Court Hotel, Texas Trust Credit Union, and the University of Texas at Arlington; Silver Sponsors including the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau, Arlington Today, Ceramic Pro, Loews Hotels, Peyco Southwest Realty, and The Rambler Inn; and Stage Sponsors including Café Americana and Legendz Classic Barbershop.

In addition to hundreds of classic automobiles, the Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show treats attendees to a full lineup of activities:

• The Downtown Arlington Farmers Market will be located adjacent to the show along Front Street and is open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., hosting several additional food trucks. Guests are invited to picnic under the tree canopy in nearby Knapp Heritage Park, where they can also explore an exhibit of historic memorabilia from the Bankhead Highway and enjoy a performance by musician Max Segura.

• The musical Main Stage near Arlington Music Hall features acts including DJ GURRL, Jacob Serano, and the Goodtimes Chorus.

• A dedicated kids play area on the lawn at Vandergriff Town Center adds to the lively atmosphere with a crafting station, face painting and inflatable bumper cars for safe, kid-friendly play.

• A misting station will be set up nearby.

• Back by popular demand, a Formula SAE car will be on display. It was built by the award-winning UTA Racing team from the University of Texas at Arlington College of
Engineering.

Within easy walking distance of the Classic Car Show are downtown coffee shops, restaurants, retail, gathering places, and a plethora of murals and public art. A newly
launched Downtown Arlington public art audio tour is one way for attendees to easily discover these local treasures.
