Ribbon Cutting Set for McKinney Fire Department Headquarters Campus

McKinney, Texas -- The City of McKinney and the McKinney Fire Department invite the public and media to celebrate the grand opening of the new McKinney Fire Department Headquarters campus.

The $53 million campus includes a fire administration building, logistics center, and Fire Station 2. The new campus improves response capabilities and provides state-of-the-art resources to better serve McKinney residents. The project was funded by bonds approved by voters in 2018.

When: Friday, May 8, at 10 a.m.

Where: 2100 Taylor Burk Dr., McKinney, Texas 75071

The two-story, approximately 40,000-square-foot fire administration building houses Fire Administration, the Fire Marshal’s Office, and Emergency Management. The logistics center supports fleet, equipment, and supply operations, while Fire Station 2 replaces the station previously located at 2001 Community Ave.
