Bonham, Texas -- Creative Arts Center in Bonham is always a busy place and that was certainly the case Saturday, April 4 as vendors and shoppers filled the lobby for this year's first Bonham Farmers Market. Due to the weather, the event was held indoors.

Judging by an overwhelming public response despite a cold and rainy morning, it will pay to go ahead and circle April 18 on the calendar and plan to be there at 9:00 a.m. because that will be the next farmers market and items are quickly snapped up by anxious shoppers.

Bonham Farmers Market is set for 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18 and recent rain means fresh produce should be abundant.
The market also has an impressive variety of delicious bread, jelly, honey and homemade goodies.

Creative Arts Center is located at 200 W. 5th. Street in Bonham.
Bonham Farmers Market is scheduled for three Saturdays in May: May 2, May 16 and May 30.
