US 75 southbound temporary exit ramp to Loy Lake Road Sherman – Closure

Sherman, Texas -- The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) officials have announced the closure of the US 75 southbound exit ramp to Loy Lake Road in Sherman. The closure is scheduled to start at 8:00 a.m. on April 8, 2026. The ramp is anticipated to be re-opened before 5:00 p.m. April 9, 2026.

Southbound US 75 mainlane traffic will take the Loy Lake Road exit (Exit 67) in Denison to access the southbound frontage road. Traffic will follow the southbound frontage road to access US 82.

The date provided is subject to delay due to weather, mechanical, material or other issues.

During this period, TxDOT urges drivers to exercise caution. Motorists who travel frequently in this area are asked to pay special attention to all barricades, traffic controls, and signs, and to reduce their speed as they approach and travel through work zones. They should also avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating, drinking, or car audio or navigation systems. TxDOT also asks drivers to remain alert to road crews while navigating through the construction zone.
