Bonham, Texas -- Mark your calendar for the annual Easter Festival Eggstravaganza presented by the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce and the American Legion Anderson-Roberts Post 283!

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Powder Creek Park on Saturday, April 4, 2026, children & adults are invited to bring their Easter baskets and hunt for over 26,000 eggs! Hunts will be divided into age groups and happen one group at a time, including an adults-only hunt.

The day will feature fun and games, free pictures with the Easter Bunny sponsored by Jake Shockley - State Farm Insurance Agent, free lunch provided by Credit Union of Texas, and most importantly, HUGE thanks to the fine folks from the American Legion Post 283 for stuffing over 26,000 Easter Eggs for egg hunts for all ages!

Local businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals can sign up to provide a free game or craft for families to enjoy, or make a contribution of easter eggs, candy, gift cards, or other items for prizes for the Adult Egg Hunt. Deadline Monday March 30, 2026.
