Ricky had a deep love for music, and playing the guitar was one of his greatest joys. He had a talent for working on small engines, a fondness for a good movie, and a gift for creating culinary masterpieces in his kitchen. His creativity, humor, and warmth touched the lives of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sammie Allen and Wanda Allen, and his son, Keith Dewayne Allen.

Ricky is survived by brother, Robert Allen, sisters, Rhonda Duvall and husband Lloyd, sister-in-law, Bertha Allen, nieces, Stacy Cravens and husband Greg, Heather Bridges and husband Aaron, Rhonda Moore, nephews, John Allen and wife Courtney, Mark Duvall, and Anthony Duvall and wife Julie, and numerous great nieces and nephews, who will carry his memory in their hearts.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home.
