Ector, Texas -- The Ector Eagles routed the Savoy Cardinals, 15-0, to open district competition.

Ector scored 12 runs in the bottom of the first frame and plated three runners in the second inning in a three-inning shutout.

Zach Hull tossed a one-hitter for the Eagles.

Kaleb Haggard went 3-for-3 with a home run and scored twice.

Jayce Adams was 2-for-2 and scored three runs.

The Ector Eagles will be on the road at Saint Jo on Thursday.
