Honey Grove, Texas -- Chris Garcia Channing of Commerce, Texas, passed away February 26, 2026. Chris was born November 21, 1945 in Bogota, Colombia.

Chris received her associate's degree, and later began working for Business Task Administration and ABI as their Office Manager.

She is survived by her son, William Channing Jr. of Honey Grove, Texas, and partner Chris Whitaker of Campbell, Texas.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March , 2026, at Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove, Texas.
