The program equips CPR-trained residents with AED access and empowers everyday citizens to take action in the critical moments before first responders arrive. By expanding public access to lifesaving equipment and training, Neighborhood Heroes builds on the chain of survival celebrated during this ceremony, reinforcing the vital role bystanders play in improving cardiac arrest survival rates across McKinney.
