Bonham, Texas -- Margie Lee Taylor, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at Beacon Hill, in Denison, Texas. Born on December 7, 1939, in the town of Bonham, she lived a full and vibrant life, embodying the virtues of kindness and devotion to her family and faith.

Margie, a lifelong Christian, lived her faith every day, instilling its values in all aspects of her life and interactions with others. She was a homemaker, creating a warm and inviting home where all felt welcome and cherished. Her love for her family knew no bounds. Margie's interests went beyond her homemaking; she was an avid reader, always eager to learn and explore new worlds through the pages of her books.

Margie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Melvin Floyd Taylor, son, Timothy Scott Taylor, and her great-grandson, Rin Taylor, father, Thomas A. Norris, mother, Minnie Katherine Smith Norris, brothers James Norris, John Ernest, and Raymond Norris, sisters, Linda Bangs, Martie Clements, and Susie Norris.

She is survived by her sons, Melvin Glen Taylor of Sherman, TX, Steven Lynn Taylor of Wolf City, TX, and Michael Lee Taylor of Sherman, TX. Margie's legacy also lives on through her adoring grandchildren, Jason, Crystal, Brittney, Jeremy, and Stephanie, and her great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

Graveside service will be on Wednesday, February 18 at 2:00 pm at the Carson Cemetery in Ector, TX. A brief visitation will be prior to the ceremony at 1:30 p.m. at the cemetery.
