Bonham, Texas -- Lynne Ayer White, an unwavering spirit, passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 62 after an extended illness. Born on June 21, 1963, to Dr. Max and Mindell Lee Ayer in Kirksville, MO. Lynne was a proud graduate of Bonham High School in 1981, she remained a lifelong Bonham Warrior, carrying the spirit of her alma mater all the days of her life.
Lynne's life was a testament to her dedication and compassion, as she devoted 30 years of service to the Bonham VA. Outside of her career, Lynne's heart belonged to her beloved husband, Robert. Together for 37.5 years, they built a life filled with love, adventure, and shared dreams. As a mother to Amanda, Lynne's loving nature shone brightly. She nurtured, guided, and cherished every moment with her daughter, creating a legacy of love that will endure for generations.
Lynne's interests were as colorful and dynamic as her personality. She found joy in traveling, always eager to explore new destinations and create lasting memories. Games with family were a hallmark of her love for fun, as she reveled in the laughter and competition that brought everyone closer. Holidays were a special time for Lynne, where her flair for celebration and her love for her family took center stage.
Described as "crazy in the best way possible," Lynne embraced life with open arms. Her passion for color by number was a reflection of her love for creating beauty in the world. A sports enthusiast through and through, Lynne was a dedicated fan of the Texas Rangers, Texas Tech, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Dallas Cowboys.
A proud supporter of President Trump, Lynne stood firm in her beliefs and convictions. She often wore her MAGA hat and t-shirts with pride. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Animal Rescue Foundation in Sherman.

Lynne is preceded in death by, father, Dr. Max E. Ayer, and in-laws, Ann Parker Rigsby and Troy White. Lynne is survived by her devoted husband, Robert White, daughter, Amanda Chittick and husband, Sean, mother, Mindell Lee Ayer, sisters, Lee Armstrong and husband Russell, Michelle Fulgham, half-brother, Jeremy Ayer, nieces and nephews, Ashley, Nir, Adrian, and Elijah Gilboa, Matthew, Jillian, Hattie, Annie, and Lydia Armstrong, Josh Mims, Rachel and Phil Nohe, Aubrey, Alex, Eleanor and Baby Demopoulos, James White, and sister-in-law, Julie Rigsby.
The funeral is Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Wise Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will take place one hour prior with burial following at Willow Wild Cemetery. Pastor Andrew Malone will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Armstrong, Josh Mims, Sean Chittick, and James White.
