Greenville, Texas -- Join us on Tuesday, February 3 at Noon at the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum for our monthly Lunch Break Special Program. As part of Black History Month, this program will feature a video compilation of oral histories from our latest temporary exhibit. The exhibit will cover people who have done things in and for the community that most don't know about. This year's interviewees were Theresa Thrash, Wesley Pierce, Cheston Henry, Henry Dawson, William Smith, Tammy Schaefer, Sherry Tarver, Deborah Dean and Joseph McCowan. We will play portions of each of their interviews and then do a Q&A out at the exhibit with any interviewees that are able to attend. Admission to the program is free for museum members; otherwise there will be a $5 admission charge. For additional information contact the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum at (903) 450-4502.
